Opportunity and Flexibility are two hallmarks for a driving career at Cargo Express, Inc. From our President/Owner, to our Operations Manager, Safety Manager, Dispatch Manager and Maintenance Manager, we've all been truck drivers. We're dedicated to enhancing your career behind the wheel.
In 2006, our average driver made $46,265 plus benefits (see pay / benefits). Our top 10% made over $56,000, while our top pay exceeded $60,000. And Cargo's not just for "the guys". We have Lady Dispatchers and bi-lingual staff to assist our international driver personnel.

At Cargo, you decide what kind of driving career best suits your family needs, your income requirements and your home time. And we're flexible enough to realize that what works for you this year might need to be changed a bit next year.
You'll make the most income and enjoy the most benefits as a 48 State Driver. Drive all 48 states and see the country. Prearranged home time is scheduled every two to three weeks, and we really strive to get you where you need to be for those important family functions.
If you love the Great American West as we do, you might want to try 11 Western State Driving. You'll be home more often, about every week or ten days. You'll still be eligible for an assigned tractor, full benefits and our signature ELITE Fleet Bonus (see pay / benefits) and Cargo Bucks (see pay / benefits).
Don't like a regular work schedule? The most flexibility is offered to our Casual Driving Staff. You tell us when you want to work and for how long and we'll find the loads to fit your schedule. Drive a week, take a week off, or work nine months and take the summer off! This driving position is ideal for semi-retirees, individuals with regular, but seasonal jobs like teachers or B.L.M. firefighters, or simply those with lower income needs.
We're also always on the lookout for a few more Driver Trainers. These individuals are chosen from our 48 state Driver pool based upon seniority, driving and communication skills, overall attitude, safety history and general knowledge. You're paid a premium while training and then you continue to earn based upon your students' future earnings. These people are truly "the best of the best".
Got a late model tractor and want to put it to work? Yes, we also have opportunities for Owner Operators / Independent Contractors. At Cargo, you'll enjoy one of the highest paying contracts in the West, but also benefit by our exceptionally low insurance rates, fuel program, plus discounted tire and maintenance programs.
So there you are, lots of opportunity, coupled with flexibility. You get to choose the career that's best for you.
